Canberra man charged with manslaughter after woman falls from moving vehicle

A 42-year-old Canberra man has faced court charged with manslaughter, after a woman fell from a moving vehicle during an alleged family violence incident.  

Police allege the 40-year-old woman was critically injured about 4am on Friday morning after she climbed onto the bonnet of a ute during an argument with her intimate partner.

The 42-year-old man from Monash is accused of driving at speed along Alfred Hill Drive in Melba, causing the woman to fall from the bonnet and suffer head injuries.
